The Master´s programme in Development and International Relations is an intensive two-years (four semesters) course. It aims at providing an interdisciplinary and critical insight in studies of development and international relations from a social sciences' perspective.
Students are expected to acquire knowledge about various theoretical approaches to the study of development and international relations, ability to analyse aspects of economic, cultural, political and societal developments from an interdisciplinary perspective, and benefit from the experience of working in an inter-cultural environment derived both from participation in the international degree program at Aalborg University and from an internship.
A Master’s degree in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University will enable you to work analytically with general and specific policy analysis, project management, planning and implementation. Career possibilities would be within NGOs, international institutions and organizations, diplomacy, public administration, and post-doctoral studies within development research and international relations.
